Attention wine connoisseurs here it is you moment of Zen or Zinfandel, Chardonnay and more. During the month of March several Palm Springs restaurants are featuring wine-soaked dinners and events that are bound to please the palate and taste buds.

On March 11 and 13, the Ace Hotel & Swim Club is offering an eat|drink|dance|repeat weekend pop-up of food and wine with curated tastings of newer, under-the-radar wines throughout California, plus a pop-up falafel ship from Sara Kramer and Sarah Hymanson, 2016 James Beard Award “Rising Star of the Year” nominees and owners of Madcapra inside Grand Central Market Los Angeles. Participating wineries include Tin City Dry Cider, Scar of the Sea Pet Nat Chardonnay, Broc Valdiguie, Stolpman Carbonic Sangiovese, Oeno Rose, Hobo/Folk Machine Pinot Noir, Scribe Riesling, Lieu Dit Sauvignon Blanc. Wines are $10 per glass or $35 for a tasting of all eight wines.

Then on March 16, there is a Saxon Brown Wine Pairing Dinner at Zin American Bistro with five wines and four tasty courses for $89 a person. During dinner, which begins at 6:30 p.m. The menu consists of pairings that include black cod and Chardonnay, pork loin roulade with pinot noir, a slow braised lamb shoulder with zinfandel finishing with a goat cheese tartlet and dessert wine. One of Palm Springs premier steakhouses, Mr. Lyons is offering a Fiddlehead Cellar “Wine and Dine” on March 24 at 7 p.m. During this $100 a pop meal you will meeth Rob Fry of Fiddlehead Cellars. The $100 pairing includes a menu of seared octopus, lamb carpaccio, braised short ribs and a bruleed cheesecake.
